Two Months Old!

Delilah turned two months old on Saturday and we had her two month doctor's visit this morning. She's happy and healthy and growing well. She took her immunizations like a champ...cried right when she got them, stopped crying less than 5 minutes later, and was asleep by the time we got home. Of course, I was still crying b/c they hurt my little girl, but that's another story. She's 23 inches long and 10 pounds 2 ounces. I know that's only a pound more than when she was born, but she lost a TON of weight after her birth, so her weight gain is good. For those of you who care about such things, she's in the 75th percentile for length and the 50th percentile for weight. So she's long and lean...like her mommy...well, like her mommy was before she was pregnant...who do I think I'm kidding? :) Enjoy some pics!

Smiling all the time now!

In the process of learning that her whole fist won't fit inside her mouth, no matter how much she may want it to!

Floor time with Mommy

In San Antonio at Uncle Cannon and Aunt Amy's house. She has more hair than Uncle Cannon and she rubs it in his face all the time.

Dancing with Daddy

Okay the lighting's not good, and they're a bit out of focus, but sometimes you just have to catch the moments when they happen.

Fun with Friends

Delilah has had some fun visitors these past few weeks. First, our friends Matt and Chelsea came in town with their son, Will, who was born two weeks after Lila. Chris and Matt have been friends since high school...so cute to see the two new dads together!

A pic of the two munchkins together. Is this Lila's first date?
Here are Chelsea and me with the little ones.

And, just for fun, here's a pic of the two of us back in March at one of my showers when we were almost 8 months pregnant!

The weekend after the Paceys stopped by, one of my dear friends from LA, Ali, came out to Austin. Ali was in Houston for work and made a day trip just to see me and Delilah...how sweet is that?!!! It was so lovely to spend time with her and I can't wait to see her again...thanks for driving out to us, Ali!!!

Professional Pics

When Delilah was 6 days old, we had a professional photographer come to the house to take some pics. A lot of you went to the photographer's blog to see a sneak peek...here are some more shots from that session. In case you're wondering why I'm just posting them now, it's b/c we just got the CD with all the images last week. I LOVE these pics and can't thank our wonderful photographer, Michele, enough!!! Her site, by the way, is http://www.pinkletoes.com/ We've purchased her first year package, so there will be many more wonderful pics throughout the year!! :)

Enjoy.

Congratulations, Dr. Duewall!!!

This past weekend Team Huntley went to Dallas to celebrate my best friend's graduation from med school!!! Jenny will be starting her residency this summer and I am so proud of her! I know she will be a wonderful doctor...congratulations, sweetie!!!

The weekend was fun, but there are no pictures because I am an idiot. We packed the camera, but I left the memory card in the computer...oops. I blame it on Chris b/c our old digital camera could still save a certain number of pics even if you forgot the memory card...but he had to go get some expensive, fancy camera that requires the card at all time. I vow to not forget again!!!

We drove up early in the morning to attend a beautiful luncheon that Jenny's in-laws hosted for her. Had a great time and Delilah was so well-behaved! I wouldn't have been so surprised except that Delilah hadn't slept in about 7 hours b/c she's perhaps the only baby in North America that doesn't fall asleep in the car. Spent the rest of the weekend hanging out with the Duewalls (they have an adorable 9 month old, Addie) and even got to see another one of my good friends, Lisa, who was in town from Atlanta.

Thanks for everything, Jenn...it was great to see you and celebrate this milestone!
