Wisconsin Part 4: The End
When not outside, the girls could ususally be found eating Cheerios out of this tray. I think they ate a box each that week.
Delilah eating her first sausage pinwheel, a Huntley breakfast tradition. This pic's for you, Grammy Di!
Playing inside during the one afternoon that it rained
Jenny's family graciously offered to watch the girls on the last night so that we could go out. Here are the four of us before we left!
Okay, these next shots need a little explaining. After having dinner at a great restaurant/brewery call the Angry Minnow, we were heading home when Jenny said we had to really experience the local culture. So we stopped a local bar called, I believe, The Corner Store (The General Store? something like that...) and had a few drinks. We watched some football, made some new friends, and learned a new dice game.
These next 3 shots were taken in rapid succession while sitting at the bar. Basically, Jenny and I were being silly, so I picked up the camera and started pretending to be a photographer while she 'posed'. We were completely oblivious to the fact that the camera was flashing in the dark bar and that everyone was staring at us.
This is a shot of locals staring at us. Ummm, do you think they knew we weren't from around there? :)
And here's Jenny playing the new dice game we learned: 6,5,4. Everyone sits around the bar, plays the game, and watches football. Fantastic!
And I'll wrap our Wisconsin trip up with a pic of me and my girl before our night out. Goodbye, Wisconsin, we miss you!!!!!!!

Wisconsin Part 3: Water Fun!
I'm ready!
Holding Delilah in my lap while Chris takes us for a canoe ride
Delilah loved taking boat rides and always fell asleep.
Here's Addie on the dock watching her mom ski. Jenny is a pro!
Delilah watching her mom try to ski. I am NOT a pro!
There was a great little sandbar near the cabin where the water was shallow enough for the girls to play. Jenny took this pic of me & my girl-I love it b/c as many of you know, Delilah probably spends half of her waking hours on my hip. :)
Best friends and their daughters
And last, but not least, a quick shot I captured when Daddy & Delilah weren't looking.

Labor Day Weekend
-
We spent the weekend playing at the park, swimming at Barton Creek, having the traditional Huntley/Hauschild Sunday Brunch, and having great chats. Saturday night was extra fun---we put the girls to bed, then, while playing dominos, we passed around Chris's laptop and started a second game. It went like this: somebody would suggest a musical prompt (e.g., pick a song you love that no one would expect you to like), and we'd each take turns answering the question by finding the corresponding video on YouTube. For that particular question, I think the boys will be equally embarrassed by their answers: Kurt's was The Climb, by Miley Cyrus and Chris's was Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey. Okay, okay, mine wasn't much better: Water Runs Dry by Boys II Men. Joie was the only cool one with Eminem's Lose Yourself.

We were picture'd out from Wisconsin, so the following pics were taken with Kurt's phone at the park. Thanks for coming, Hauschilds...we love you!
This pic is actually on our back porch. The girls grabbed some measuring cups and spent quite some time prentending to give each 'sips' from the empty cups. Love Avari's little tongue sticking out!

Wisconsin Part 2: Wilderness Walk
Wilderness Walk is a great petting zoo about 30 minutes from the cabin. Delilah wasn't too excited at first, but a baby cow and a nuzzling deer soon got her in the spirit of things.
But this calf doesn't seem so bad
I want to pet her
Rachael: "Holy cow, I'm feeding a freaking camel!!!"
Putting the walk in 'Wilderness Walk'
This deer just walked up behind Delilah and started nuzzling her. Delilah didn't act surprised at all; she just stood there and hung out with the deer for awhile.
Chad and Addie get a visit from the deer, too
Chris feeding the deer
One of my favorite pics from the visit
Okay, the next 4 shots were taken sequentially, but we didn't come up with the storyline until we were reviewing our pics on the flight home. It was inspired by the fact that in the last shot, it really looks like our daughter's arm is up the deer's bum. Please forgive our demented sense of humor.
Delilah: Hey, I think this deer is about to have a baby
